Why Get a Plumbing Tune Up?
We all take our plumbing for granted when it works, but when it doesn’t work it can be inconvenient, frustrating and costly. A plumbing tune up can increased plumbing equipment life, improved equipment efficiency, protects equipment warranties, and reduces major repairs!
There are many steps that can be included in a plumbing tune up, below is what all is included in our plumbing tune up!
- Check water shut-off valve for proper operation
- Test temperature and pressure safety relief valve
- Check thermocouple and clean if necessary
- Check for visible corrosion and stability of tank base
- Check all toilet connections and seals for tightness
- Check all faucets for proper operation
- Test sump pump and battery back-up sump pump for proper operation
- Inspect all exposed drain pipes and floor drains
- Check garbage disposer, sinks, tubs and shower drains

Tankless Water Heater: If the home is equipped with a tankless water heater, we will inspect, and flush.

Standard Water Heater: If the home is equipped with a standard water heater, we will inspect the unit- pull elements, check ohms of elements, visually inspect anode rod, drain unit, and flush sediment from the tank.
