Rewired system to allow the system to communicate properly. Fired off cooling. All OK
I was greeted by Justin on arrival. He stated they have not used the cooling since I was here on 8/10 for the maintenance.l and there was water running from the geo to the ejector pit. There was water in the drain pan when I arrived. I tested the drain and it’s draining perfect. I could not find cause of the leak. He will keep an eye on it over the weekend.
Performed gas furnace inspection/maintenance. System works properly at this time.

Performed oil furnace inspection. Replaced the nozzle. Adjusted the combustion. System works properly at this time.
Performed Trane condensing gas furnace inspection/maintenance. Customer will replace the air filter. System works properly at this time.
I was greeted by Lauren on arrival. I started by turning power off to the unit. I recovered all refrigerant, replaced the warranty coil and filter drier, nitrogen tested at 200 psi for 20 mins, vacuumed system down to 280 microns, unit passed decay test. I added the 7lbs 2 ounces of factory charge. I turned the system on and let it stabilize. I added an additional 2 lbs 2 ounces to get the subcooling correct. All is normal at this time. Customer paid by check.
Performed #2 Carrier condensing gas furnaces inspection/maintenance. Replaced the main unit air filter, customer supplied. Removed and cleaned both condensation traps. Performed the flues analysis. System works properly at this time.

I was greeted by the realtor Tracy on arrival. She stated the box from power company was a concern since it wasn’t hooked up. I informed her that it is property of the power company and if they wanted it hooked up to call the power company. She also stated the that the hole where the water heater lines comes through is not sealed. We did not cause the hole and have pictures to prove that. I did however seal up the holes for the furnace power and gas line on the walls. The last thing was there is wires running close and tight to the end of the attic access. These wires are for cable/ internet. All pictures were added to the account. All is normal at this time. Rene is out of state at this time. Will send the diag fee in email to pay online.
Performed furnace,heat pump and mini split fall inspection/ maintenance. Washed the mini split air filters. The furnace and heat pump air filters are still good. Systems work properly at this time.
Inspecting system that was installed. Found that the breakers for the electric heat and heat pump. Need to be changed out to manufacturer specs. We also cut a small hole and the drywall that needs to be repaired. Send pictures over to our drywaller and he will reach out directly.

Performed #2 Ducane gas furnace inspection/maintenance. Tested the humidifier first floor. Customer will replace the water panel. The upstairs gas valve port is stripped. Quoted to replace.
I was greeted by Craig on arrival. I completed the heating and cooling maintenance on 3 systems and the heating on the garage unit. The capacitor was low on the geo split. Craig approved replacement. The flame sensor on the garage unit was very corroded. Craig approved replacement. While removing the burners and the flame sensor I broke the igniter. I replaced under full warranty. All systems are normal at this time.
Performed #4 central gas furnace inspection /maintenance. Tested the humidifiers functionality, the water panels are still good. Replaced all filters except the one for the master bedroom. The sunroom room unit has multiple signs of age. Burners rusted, heat exchanger rusted, the condensate trap cracked. Due to the age I recommend to replace the system. Customer requested an estimate.

Replaced the automatic flue dumper. Tested the boiler. System works properly at this time.

I was greeted by Sherrit on arrival. She stated the ac had been running non stop since the repair was made. I found the Y circuit was wired incorrectly. Once I fixed the wiring and the ac unit shut off. I cycled system and all is normal at this time.
I arrived at the customers business and they greeted me at the door. They showed me where the thermostat is located then they show me where the furnace is located and then they show me where the outdoor unit is located. When we do this maintenance you will need a Tech that can’t get on the platform where the furnace is located and also when we do the maintenance for cooling somebody that can actually fit out the window to get to the actual AC unit. I checked temperature drop I checked the blower wheel and blower motor I did not get the check the condensate drain or the evaporator coil due to the fact that I cannot get on the platform where the furnace is located I checked all the electrical components on the furnace I went out to the AC. I checked the capacitor. I checked the contactor. I checked refrigerant and pressures. Refrigerant pressures were OK subcool was still in the range reading 13.9 and the requires so cooling is 10 this is a Trane unit. I did come up with some options ju

Paolo is a very thorough technician and knows how to service my boiler and troubleshoot problems. He explains what he is doing as he goes along. Please be sure he is assigned to me for my next service call as he is one of the few people who know how to service this boiler.

John provided excellent service. He was very personable and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that I had to wait a week for service to repair my air conditioning. While the Control Tech website indicated emergency service is available, none was offered as an option. I share this as a detail to look into on the website to improve messaging.
Received great service from Paolo.He checked my air conditioning system and found no problem with it. He did keep checking to determine cause for increased humidity in house. He gave several suggestions and we will try them out.
This whole ordeal was totally off the wall amazing. From the lady who took the call to the awesome technician John Fountain. I had air within 1 hour or so. I know Alan would be thrilled with the people who work for him.

Collin was professional and very knowledgeable about my HVAC system. He quickly determined what the problem was and explained what part had failed. He informed me of my warranty and senior discounts as he prepared the repair quote. I highly recommend ControlTech for your HVAC needs.
It's hard to find companies that still pay attention to customer service, I believe Control Tech is one of the few. Also I can't give 5 star only because nobody is perfect and there should always be room for improvement. Otherwise I would have, I worked for one of the best customer service companies when I was younger, nobody got 5 stars for an internal performance review.
Brian arrived on time. He explained the procedures, inquired if I had any questions (very professional) and went to work. The work was accomplished timely. We are very satisfied in Control Tech and personnel.
Control Tech is the best! I called early in the morning and was told that it would be tomorrow before anyone could come out.
